January 16 - 2005 Auckland win National Sevens

Auckland won the National Sevens, played at the Recreation Ground, Queenstown, beating Northland 42 – 12 in the Cup final. Other championship winners were: Plate – Wellington, Bowl – Otago, Shield – Manawatu.
