December 27 - 1945 NZ Services back in winning form

New Zealand Services bounced back from their loss to an Old Belvedere Selection with a clear cut 19 – 3 defeat of Leicester, in Leicester.

The New Zealanders got away to a flying start (8 points in 8 minutes) but Leicester, playing in lettered rather than numbered jerseys, mostly held them out for the rest of the first half. But New Zealand dominated the second spell to win well.
